Hey sweet friends! I’m Hayley — the teen entrepreneur behind The Dough Drop!

I’m the girl behind every recipe — creating, testing (and of course, taste-testing!). All of my cookies are made in small batches, which means each one is handmade with lots of love, care, and a little bit of magic!

I've always loved baking, but my baking journey became something bigger when my grandad was diagnosed with a neurological disease and spent months in hospital. I watched as my grandma would bring him baked treats, and even on his hardest days, a familiar smell or taste would bring him a small spark of joy - that stayed with me. I couldn’t stop thinking about how something as simple as a cookie could brighten someone’s day — just like it did for him. That’s what inspired me to start this business: to share comfort, warmth, and a little happiness in every bite.

Baking is my creative outlet — a space where I can experiment with flavours, bring ideas to life, and turn simple ingredients into something special. To me, baking is more than just making sweets… it’s about connection, memories, and making people smile.
